Leading up to Armistice Day (November 11th) in 2016, the Tasman Peninsula Historical Society and local Year 9 and Year 10 students at Tasman District School researched what happened to over 100 World War 1 combatants with connections to the Tasman Peninsula. Dossiers of each of the men were compiled and were displayed at local venues as “Back to the Farm” exhibition in 2016. The online version of the Exhibition is still a work in progress! We had it live, but now the site is undergoing maintenance; it could be some time before you can view the dossiers here.

Please be patient as we check our facts, comply with copyrights and add more dossiers of our Local Heroes in the coming period ...  If you are a member of TPHS (now TFHG), we will keep you informed of web developments.
